So What Does This Mean For Me?
Today I am joining together with 10 wonderful bloggers in a special link up to celebrate all our blessings–and to show our gratitude to YOU by offering some special gifts to make your lives easier at this busy time of year. We have a couple of fun things planned for you.
PART 1: FREE RESOURCES
First of all, each one of us is offering up a gift for you–we are taking one or two of our products and making them FREE for you, our loyal readers! FREEBIE #1
My “Show, Not Tell” sentence writing task cards. You can check them out RIGHT HERE! Want more details?
Are you familiar with the term “Show Not Tell” to help students dig deeper into descriptive writing? Descriptive writing–especially narrative writing–can be tricky for students. I wanted a way to engage my students in how to really see how writers “show” the reader what is happening without “telling”–and WITHOUT using boring practice sheets. Also, I know that students need modeling and hints, so I wanted my task cards to help teachers help students!
I have included actual photos and teaching tips for you as well as all 24 task cards in color, black and white, and digital versions. Recording sheets and teaching examples are included as well.
FREEBIE #2
So often teachers are asked to teach math standards—whether they be from the Common Core or other rigorous standards—and aren’t given enough help. This edition focuses on multistep word problems and estimation strategies (4.OA.A.3) and is geared toward solving a few problems for teachers! Solving one step and two step word problems is a critical math skill–and this resource can help–and you can get it for free! CLICK HERE to see more about this great resource!
Remember, just CLICK HERE to get both of these amazing resources for free!
