Perimeter Problems and Area Art!

Hello everyone!  Today is my day to post over at All Things Upper Elementary!  Today I have posted about a SUPER fun lesson we did Monday using area, perimeter, problem solving and art!  Stop by and check it out!  Here is a “teaser” photo!

Also–HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!  Just a reminder that TpT is having its big sale today and tomorrow only where you can get tons of products on sale!  I have put my first Hands On Science Investigation in my store–if it looks like something people are interested in, I have 4 more I will create.  Here’s a link in case you want to check it out. (If you do buy, remember to use the code TAD13!)

I also stayed up late to get my next set of word problems for grades 3-4 ready!  I know I have been focused on the 4-5 ones lately…so now I can finish the set for grades 3-4!  This one is a mixed operations set–some addition, subtraction, and basic multiplication and division.  Many of the problems have “extra” parts for differentiation–like the other 5 sets in my store.  I have had a number of people contact me about topics they would like covered in future problem sets, so if these have been helpful to you, please let me know what other topics you would like!

Make sure to stop on by ATUE for my post and the other great posts from recent weeks!
