This “Novel Idea” resource is geared toward helping teachers help their students dig deeper into texts–in this case “The Lemonade War”–as required by rigorous standards everywhere. This resource can be used with read aloud “mentor texts”, for literature circles, or even for intervention groups.

Using quality texts allows ALL students access to higher-level thinking–no matter what their independent reading level is! The resource is open-ended enough that it can be used with your whole class, with a small group, or even for an independent book study.
